Where did it start?

It took a while to admit that I was going to be an electrician.

I worked in construction, forestry, became a sous-chef, married, started a family —never imagining I’d move back to Dundas.

In the end, it felt right to return to the town that gave me many of my roots.
Why, after so much time away, did I come back?

Family. Community. Stability.

It’s important for me to plant what seeds I can to gentle the coming days and to leave the world a better place then the one I entered into, if only on a tiny scale.

At home I do this by raising my children with a clear vision of our values.
With employees I do it by treating those I work with as family.
At work I do it by treating each job as if it were the home or business of my neighbours — and often it is.

If my job is done to a standard that positively impacts those I work for to the exact degree that it impacts me then I’ve made a successful transaction.
I believe that it’s this ethos that has left me with a steady stream of work and a happy trail of jobs well done. As such I acknowledge and praise everyone who has helped me along the way.
